Magic at Riddle Manor
This week in Little Hangleton the well known 'haunted' Riddle Manor burned to the ground. Residents confirm that there was magic involved as shortly before the final collapse of the historical estate a massive glow green emblem appeared in the sky.
“It looked like a huge skull, with a snake coming out of its mouth!” Says a flabbergasted Little Hangleton resident. “I've got to wonder what those... people... were up to there with that sort of thing showing up!”
“It was ghastly.” Assured another. “Gave my poor kids nightmares for days!”
According to one source three teenage children were seen sneaking into the manor late at night. We're unsure if these children are the culprits or if they were just in the wrong place at the wrong time. If they were we can only offer hope that the three children escaped in good health.
Further reports tell us that there was gun fire at the estate as well, and rumor has it that the anonymous group only known as NecoVeneficus was on sight. Sadly, no further information is known.
Have you seen these people?
Ure and Elise Wright were reported missing after a neighbor went to investigate the yowling of their pet cat. Blood was discovered on scene and it is expected that one, or both are injured or to be presumed dead. There are no suspects to date. Also missing from the resident was their daughter Ire Wright, who though spending time in America had reportedly returned home early. Investigators say that from the looks of it the daughter left without duress and is now wanted for questioning.

Dark Mark in Little Hangleton!
Sources tell us that the Dark Mark was spotted for the first time in over 70 years last week, and where did it happen? Little Hangleton, at the Riddle Manor! Now I'm sure many of you readers are wondering what this is about, but sources also assure us that apparently three teenagers snuck into the manor that night: It was apparently all a prank gone wrong! We at the Prophet have to wonder what people are teaching their children these days!
Further reports tell us that both NecoVeneficus, and a group of the wizards bandying about the Death Eater name showed up on the scene as well leading to a bloody confrontation! We all hope that the children got out long before the incident happened.
During the incident the old Riddle Manor was burned to the ground: It is one sight that will certainly not be missed by the magical community: As I'm sure many of you are aware the old estate has connections to He-Who-Must-Not-Be-Named, the most feared Dark Lord to have existed to date: a figure that still haunts many people to this day!
