The First Age Of Magic
The year is 2182 and magic has begun to seep into the pores of evolution, starting with just a few individuals and becoming more frequent until the world leaders can no longer ignore it. This power puts these individuals on a higher plane than they are, and they cannot fight people like this. So, creating a mass of hysteria along with several 'magical laboratories', they set about a plan to steal the powers for themselves, making them ultimately undefeatable. The only problem was, as people who had been seperated from their magic tended to die, the world leaders were now faced with the prospect of hiding a mass genocide, turning even the nicest into secretive, dangerous individuals.
Even 'normal' humans are at risk if they find out the truth.
A laboratory (informally, lab) is a facility that provides controlled conditions in which scientific research, experiments, and measurement may be performed.
The humans who worked in the laboratory were forced to take oaths of secrecy and sign wagers against their life if they told the truth regarding their work. Anyone found to be hiding a fugitive magic user was to be hauled into the interrogation room until every piece of information was removed either willingly or by force.
The world was no longer safe for anyone.
After Months of torment and evading capture, the Magic users have decided to take a no tolerance stand against the government and their officials. War has been declared, and God help us all.
