Appearance:
Katelyn has very dark brown, almost black thin hair. It is short, up to her shoulder and always messy.She has almond shaped dark brown eyes that appear almost black. Once full of life, they are now dull, free of emotion and shut off from the rest of the world. Forever distant. She stands at a short five feet three inches and weighs one hundred and twenty five pounds. She has an athletic body. Her face is very round and she has a deep set dimple on her right cheek.She dresses in comfortable clothing. She opts for loose fitting clothes, always casual, She wears mostly dark colors.Katelyn barely wears makeup when not going out. She prefers a soft natural earthy look. She gives off an I don't give a damn what you think attitude.

Personality:
OVERALL PERSONALITY

Russo has a fierce personality, that has a permanent effect on people. She's the kind of person you can love and hate with equal force at the same time. One minute she's your favorite person, funny and charismatic, the next a vicious self absorbed bitch.

She has horrible mood swings and polar personality traits, but somehow you can never get enough of her. She's infectious, a disease.

TENACIOUS

She is a very stubborn individual, once she has her mind set. If her decision is to do something, she'll go through hell and back to make sure it gets done.

Also once she has made up her mind about someone it is impossible to change it, which is why she doesn't judge to quickly, or at least she tries not to.

INTELLECTUAL

She is a very smart individual, both book and street smart. She loves to read and gather up any information she can about every subject she can fit in. She always received high marks in school without even trying.

This wit however is not always put to good use. She can use it to be SARCASTIC and plain mean to people that she deems of lower intelligence. She thinks that because she is so smart she is entitled to be BRASH

NARCISSISTIC

She believes she is the best, and has not one doubt about it. She knows what she has going for her and uses it to her advantage, and her over sized ego. She doesn't show this part of her though as much as she shows her other traits. She knows how annoying a narcissist can be, being one herself she sees it as her only flaw.

HONEST

Honesty is not always the best policy when it comes with being involved with Ruse. She takes honesty to a whole other level by being brutally honest. She tells it like it is, never hides the facts. If there is a piece of spinach in your teeth, she won't be subtle about it. She'll straight out tell you "Dude you got some green stuff, just there" and point it out for you. The only good part about this is her SINCEREness about it.

IRRATIONAL and PARANOID

She doesn't always see things as they exactly are. Say you look at her, then laugh and turn to your friend and begin talking, she'll automatically assume your talking about her. She also doesn't always think straight about stuff. Like decision making, she doesn't always make the rational choice and if she does, she never comes to it in a rational way.

Character history:
Katelyn Marie Russo was born August 5 to Elaine and Marshall Russo whom already had a son of two years of age, Samuel David. They were a family of the middle class, her father working at a bank, and her mother working at a book store.

The first days of Katelyn's life were critical, as she was born ill. She was quickly helped by the medi wizards, she was cured but her health was still taught in critical condition. After two weeks she was sent home and considered a blessed miracle.

Because of this, naturally her mother took extra care of her growing up keeping her on a short leash. Katelyn of course, being a free, independent spirit resented her parents for being so over protective of her, and Sam resented being neglected. His needs were often ignored because of his sister, however they stilled developed a good healthy relationship.

Katelyn's youth was a happy one. Nothing of which was lacking, in fact she was a bit spoiled. She had plenty of love and support from her family. She received everything she wanted, and never had to really work for it. The only thing Katelyn ever had to work for was her education, she loved learning and thrived for knowledge. Katelyn was always a mature individual. She did not care about fashion or popularity and had an "I don't give a damn about anyone or anything" attitude, which was probably why people liked her, she didn't try hard to be accepted, it just came naturally. She was however seen as a bit mean, as she was brutally honest with people and utterly sarcastic. No one however brought anything up because of her brother.

Then her world go turned upside down. The NecoVeneficus invaded her town, killed hundreds, including her family. She was taken beat and raped, somehow, and no one quite knows how she escaped. She then turned mad, seeking vengeance for her family by joining the death eaters. She is determined to kill any muggle that crosses her path.

Role play Sample:
Katelyn lay in bed tossing and turning. It was three in the morning now, and she hadn't had not one wink of sleep. Thoughts of the new year plagued her. What would it be like? She'd never been away from her home alone for more than a day. This would be far more than a day, this would be weeks, and months! Her brother told her stories of the mean teachers, and the hard work. Would her intelligence be enough? What if she failed? Would she be liked, she never really interacted with other children besides Sam. Would she have friends? And most of all would she be placed in the right house.

She'd had dreams about it, nightmares really, of being a Hufflepuff, she'd be the laughing stock of the Russo's. For as long as their has been a Hogwarts there has been a Russo attending, and each one was Slytherin. Each was cunning, and powerful, and each HATED muggles. See this is where things got difficult, Katelyn loved muggles, of course she had never met one, but she'd heard of their stories, from Miss Torvolt and she just loved them. What if that love meant she wasn't a Slytherin?

She shook her head from the thoughts. No, she would go to school, and love it. She'd have friends, she'd make top marks, and most importantly she'd be a Slytherin. She closed her eyes tight and imagined a muggle story she had heard oh so many times, the story of Cinderella. She played it out in head until she fell fast asleep.

The next day, her fears became reality. She was at Kings Cross about to ride the train to Hogwarts, no one wanted to sit with her, "sorry, we're full" a pompous girl said shutting the compartment door in her face. Katelyn held in her tears as she went looking for Sam, he thankfully let her sit with him and his crew.

At the ceremony she had tripped on her way up to the Hogwarts Hat. Everyone laughed. Blushing furiously she took the hat from the professor and shoved the hat on her head thankful that no one would be able to see her from under it.

"My my my, another Russo" the hat croaked.
"Y-yes" she stammered. "Um, would you be so kind as to place me in Slytherin?" she begged the Hat. "Slytherin ey?" the Hat asked "But wouldn't an intelligent being as yourself be better suited in ... Ravenclaw,"
"no!" Katelyn squeaked.
"Yes, yes, I see it. You hold something in you, intelligence, integrity, not a Slytherin at all." the hat murmured. "You shall do great in.... Ravenclaw" the Hat shouted for all to hear. She ripped the hat off her head, all cheered, all except Sam she could see, he looked, dumbfounded. So did she. Katelyn Russo, a Ravenclaw? She'd never hear the end of it.
